As a much sought-after speaker in workplace and community settings, and frequent contributor to financial media (Yahoo Money, Wall Street Journal, Morningstar, lnvestopedia, U.S. News & World Report), Pedro Silva has developed a reputation as a financial educator. Johnny began his financial services carrier in 1976 with Met Life at age 21.  Retired at age 41 with 20 years service, and began his own financial services company. Johnny is owner/president of both Rosier Benefits & Financial Services and GPS Tax Center.

He is a national instructor for FFEBA, which provides training for federal employees, he also conducts educational workshops on social security and retirement planning nationally.  Johnny’s organization is licensed in 35+ states and has a team of financial professionals across multiple states.

Johnny is married to Nelda Butler Rosier, they have 5 children and 8 grandchildren.

His financial expertise has helped thousands over the past 45 years.

David Hamner is a CPA and began his career auditing School Boards, Public Housing Authorities and Hospitals.  He worked as controller for a hospital, serving as payroll and benefits coordinator.  He was the controller at a publicly traded oil and gas measurement company, where he served as 401(k) plan administrator and employee benefits decision maker for several years. 

After leaving corporate accounting David began working with Federal Employees to help them understand their FERS/CSRS benefits as well as their TSP options.  His background as a 401(k) administrator provided an understanding of the TSP plan since both have similar rules and options. David conducts educational presentations across approximately eight states.  He has achieved the Federal Retirement Consultant (FRC) designation.  He also helps Federal Employees plan for their retirement by minimizing taxes. 

Daniels financial career began as a young boy going to his father’s office and making phone calls reminding clients of their upcoming appointments. Daniel’s professional career began in Oklahoma City with Mass Mutual, constructing Financial Plans and overseeing plan operations for the firm. He than moved back to Arkansas where he joined his family’s operation; Thomason Financial Services, in 2007. Daniel is licensed in over 35 states and specializes in workshops for Federal Employees on their benefits, TSP, and retirement system. Daniel is a FFEBA Representative and FRC (Federal Retirement Consultant) for Federal Employees.

Daniel also runs an extensive Insurance and Retirement advising practice with his father working with Families, Business owners, Farmers, Pilots, etc.

Daniel lives in Little Rock, Arkansas. Married to Sadie Jane Thomason and they have 1 boy: Mack James Thomason.

Shane started his career over 17 years ago in the financial service industry. He has been recognized as one of the top account managers and service providers in his field. He has worked with federal and state workers as well as the private sector.

Shane has been married for over 20 years and has two children. He enjoys helping and guiding his clients achieve their financial and retirement goals.

On a personal note, Irina likes to read; enjoys gardening, hiking, fishing and boating with her husband. They spend weekends in their lake home in Three Lakes, WI. She also has a sweet German Shorthair Pointer dog named Oscar that she likes to take for walks. Family is the most precious thing to Irina as she enjoys spending time with her daughter Lexie and her son-in-law Tom, as often as possible.

Lawrence Zimbler, MST, EA holds a BS in math, an MS in taxation, and has passed the Uniform

CPA Exam. Having been a supervisory principal in the securities field for 16 years, he now owns

and operates an independent investment advisory firm, 4square Advisory Services, Inc (4ASI),

CRD 177526 registered in the state of Michigan.

Since 1975 his tax experience includes IRS technical and managerial positions, professional tax

software development and support, private practice, and teaching and writing on taxation

issues. An Enrolled Agent is the only federally licensed tax credential that allows a holder to

represent clients in any state, before any division of the Internal Revenue Service.

Since 1986 his professional investment experience includes work as a registered representative

plus 16-years’ experience as a registered principal (supervising as many as 10 representatives

at one time). During this period, Larry held FINRA Series 6, 7, 22, 24, 51 and 65 licenses along

with Michigan life, health and property & casualty insurance licenses.

Creating 4ASI in 2015, having zero reportable events on his record, Larry (individual CRD

1439484) abandoned all securities and insurance licenses (except for FINRA Series 65 as

required by state law) and operates an independent, fee-only investment management

business. 4ASI is intended to be a small, boutique practice focused on the individual needs of

each client.

Larry continues active as a tax professional. He is a member of the National Association of

Enrolled Agents (NAEA), MI & NM Chapters, and the National Association of Tax Professionals

(NATP). He is a national instructor for NATP, as well as privately for various organizations. He

has authored classes and books for continuing education of tax professionals. This is important

because the tax consequences of investment decisions are in the forefront of his advice,

especially in regard to qualified retirement plans and funds; and understanding taxes brings with

it understanding of a large variety of financial transactions that affect investors.

As an investment advisor, Larry specifically focuses on clients that are below what is considered

“high net worth” believing these clients to be underserved by the profession. 4ASI currently has

more than $15-million under management, averaging about $218,000 per account. 4ASI will

take on clients with as little as $2,500 to invest (conditioned on regular additions). Most

importantly, 4ASI receives no compensation or incentives from any investments recommended

or trades placed; and 4ASI is not affiliated with any agency, organization or broker/dealer that

might influence investment recommendations. All investment activity is strictly focused on the

client’s best interest. To further his style of client-first operations, Larry acquired the

designation Certified Financial Fiduciary® in 2021, and this designation fits closely with the way

4ASI has always conducted business.

On a personal level, Larry is an active adult leader in Scouts BSA since 1991, and an ordained

elder in the Presbyterian Church USA. Married to Mary for 40 years they have two successful

adult children.

Dan Ostlund was born in Tacoma and is a fourth-generation business owner. He has passed the Series 65 exam and is an Investment Advisor Representative with CMS Advisors. He started Ostlund Wealth Advisors in 1995. He has been married to his wife, Marie, for 30 years. They have two children who are business and finance students at the Carson Business School at WSU. They plan to join the family business after graduation.
